Cancellation & Lateness Policy


Please be aware that Beauty by Sarah operates a strict 48 HOUR cancellation policy.  Should you be unable to attend your appointment and you fail to allow at least 48 hours notice, FEES WILL BE INCURRED IRRESPECTIVE OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLING.  Short notice cancellations lead to the cancelled appointment slot being unfulfilled, as it is too short notice to offer to alternative clients.  This is not only unfair to clients who would have taken an appointment slot given the appropriate opportunity, but also means a LOSS OF INCOME, TIME, PREPARATION (and in some cases depending on treatment booked) a loss or waste of Beauty by Sarah's products.  To help avoid incurring cancellation fees, Beauty by Sarah sends out reminder texts at the beginning of each week detailing a client's treatment date, time and type.

 

CANCELLATION FEES

 

*Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours notice 50% of treatment cost will be payable*

 

*Less than 24 hours notice 100% of treatment cost will be payable*

If you are running LATE for your appointment, please inform Beauty by Sarah as soon as possible.  In some circumstances, depending on how late you arrive to your appointment, it may not be possible to carry out your treatment or such lateness may result in a shortened treatment time.  Lateness has a knock-on effect to subsequent client bookings and necessary treatment set up time needed by Beauty by Sarah.  In the case where lateness has resulted in a shortened treatment time or the inability to carry out your treatment, the FULL TREATMENT COST will still be charged.

At your first appointment with me, you will be asked to read in full my policy and sign a declaration to adhere to this policy.  A signed copy will be kept on your file at Beauty by Sarah, plus a signed copy will be returned to you to take home for your own records.

Deposit Policy

 

All new clients to Beauty by Sarah will be required to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure the first booking with me.  The deposit amount will be 50% of the total treatment amount you have booked in for.  Once a booking has been made, details will be supplied to make payment.  Deposits will need to be paid no later than 48 hours prior to your appointment time.  Once you attend your first appointment, the deposit amount will be deducted from your total bill.  However, If you fail to attend the arranged appointment, or cancel at short notice (as per my cancellation & lateness policy - min. 48hrs notice to cancel) then you will lose the deposit you have paid.  

 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON DEPOSITS ONCE PAID - BY PAYING THE DEPOSIT AND MAKING A BOOKING YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS.
